Jinggoy to De Lima’s request to attend Senate Sessions: Ano akala mo sa sarili mo? Maraming nagmamahal sa iyo?

Former senator Jinggoy Estrada lambasted senator Leila De Lima, after the lady politician asked the court to allow her to attend senate debates despite of being detained inside the Philippine National Police Custodial Center in Camp Crame.

In his post, Estrada reminded De Lima that he also asked the court to fulfill his duty as a senator and attend sessions, but in the end the Sandiganbayan didn’t gave him permission to appear in the senate.

Now Jinggoy said that lady senator could face the same experience. He also asked De Lima if she really thinks that people still love and support her despite of the controversies that she faced including her alleged connection with the National Bilibid drug lords.

Estrada also said that De Lima was already unnecessary in the senate because the upper house can still function without her.

The former senator explained that the senate still functioned even three senators where detained during that times.

Jinggoy told De Lima that the lady senator should know that the senate will still work without her because she’s a topnotch lawyer.

Former senators Jinggoy Estrada, Bong Revilla and former senate president Juan Ponce Enrile were ordered to be detained in PNP Custodial Center where senator Leila De Lima is also currently staying.

Instead of trying to ask the court to attend senate sessions, Jinggoy gave an advice to De Lima that it’s better to pray for the success of President Rodrigo Duterte.

This is the whole post of Estrada:

Marami kang taga-suporta? Nagkakamali ka!!!

The Senate can function even without you!! In fact, they don’t even need your vote! You should know that!! You’re supposed to be a topnotch lawyer, right?

They can easily muster a quorum with or without us. Eh ikaw pa, nag-iisa ka lang!

Just an unsolicited advice to you Madam Leila, I don’t think you should push through with your plan of filing a motion before the court for you to attend the Senate sessions. That will prove to be an exercise in futility.

Last week, the members of the senate minority unveiled their plan to ask the court to let senator Leila De Lima attend senate sessions even through remote or electronic means.

De Lima said that she owes her supporters who voted for her and she need to do the duty that she gave to her by the Filipino people.

She was accused of protecting the illegal drug trade inside the National Bilibid Prison during her time as the Justice Secretary.

The lady senator is still detained in the PNP Custodial Center in Camp Crame because of the drug charges that filed against her.
