Beware: Hathaway Credit is a Scam and Fraud

Beware of this Hathway Credit which offers loan a credit card. One of my friend was a victim of this scam / fraud website. This Hathway credit encouraging customers in latin america through facebook page.

Its so catchy and you will easily get tempted to join and register because they have no status credit checking, so your application will be approved.

When you register, you will put all your personal information and upload your national ID. After 24 hours one of staff of this scammers will call you a representative of hathaway credit and will introduce about their company and and encouring words to make you believe, and will said the phone calls is recorded for assurance purposes.

My friend from Uruguay registered on this website last March 12, 2020 and the hathaway agent said, they will send the credit card to the your address with credit limit of $1,200 dollars and you need to pay the minimum of $125.00 dollars a month and they will charged you $19.99 dollars for the payment of sending your credit card, they will ask your credit card numbers and the expiry date and the CCV code the three digits at the back of your credit card that you have.

Alright, April 10 came, and no card arrived, one month is coming and no card arrived. My friend send a message to the message center of the website, and the agent said, they sent the credit card through FEDEX but they cannot provide the tracking number. The website agent said, one of the representatives will call my friend and wait because of this pandemic the delivery will be delayed.

But April 25, 2020, the first due date of the hathaway credit card for minimum payment, but still my friend did not receive the credit card, my friend did not wait anymore and did not expect the card to arrive and assumed that the application will be automatically cancelled since my friend did not receive the card, so its not activated, because the card will only be active if you created a pin, but how? no card arrived.

But April 26, my friend received notification on his phone, that his credit card was charged $125 dollars, the card he give to halthway credit representative that charged him for the delivery of the card.

My friend contacted halthway credit online and chatted the customer service and ask why he was charged for $125 dollars, that he did not receive his card, so its unfair, my friend got angry and frusrated. The hathaway agent said, my friend agreed to the phone call which is recorded, and the they will send though email the phone calls that was recorded.

My friend said to the agent, “your a scammers, fraud, how can you charge me, when I did not recieve my card, their is no prof that I have my card, no prof that my card was activated, you cannot even give the tracking of the card.

I have my rights to contact now my bank and file a fraud of what you did charging me for an amount that I did not used. I am the card holders of my card that you charged, and I am protected under bank laws” the message of my friend to hathaway credit agent online. Then the hathway credit said one of the representatives will call my friend within 24 hours.

After 24 hours, my friend did not received any phone calls. My friend file a fraud for the charged of his active credit card, and was refunded by the bank after 30 days and the bank issued him a new credit card.

My friend investigated the website of this hathaway credit and its not a new website, all their reviews was fake, you can see the date of the registration of the website, was just last march 2020 this year.

Creation Date: 2020-03-10 Time 20:43:03Z If you will read the reviews of their website, the reviews were since last year there is a review since 2018, 2019 and previous months, so how did they get the customers’ reviews posted on their website, if they only just registered March 2020?

And when you click customer portal on their website, its not working, you cannot login to your account, its nothing, it will let you back to the homepage. So totally the website is scam.

And one thing that the Hathaway credit a scam and fraud, is They will ask your credit card details to pay the charged to deliver your card, that will never arrive. Please note that the bank laws and precautions, that never give your credit card details to anybody, which my friend forgot and give his credit card details to the halthway, which he thinks he will get a new credit loan.

Hathway credit phone number is not working, no one will answer it and when you search their location in map, its not exist. Beware!
