The Japanese government, through the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), will provide 120 light rail vehicles to be utilized for the extension of LRT line 1 system going south — from Baclaran station to as far as Bacoor, Cavite!

Manila’s Department of Transportation has signed an agreement with Mitsubishi and CAF to supply the Philippine capital with 120 cars for its Light Rail Transit (LRT) Line-1 from 2020.

The secretary of the Manila Department of Transportation, Arthur Tugade, spoke effusively about the Mitsubishi-CAF deal, and would kick-start the city’s LRT line extension which he said “has been delayed for a long time”.

Dahil may tiwala ang Japan government sa ating pangulo, at ito ang resulta sa pag bisita ng ating pangulo sa Japan.

Thank you Japan!
