Box-office comedian star and Showtime host, Vice Ganda, is one of the 580 performers to entertain thousands of Dabawenyos in the upcoming thanksgiving party of President Rodrigo Duterte at Crocodile Park concert ground, Davao City this June 4 dubbed as “DU31: One Love, One Nation” from 1pm to 1am.
The comedian didn’t endorse Duterte during the campaign period but the celebrity has been open with his affection with the personality of the tough-talking President especially during his TV guesting on ABS-CBN program ‘Gandang Gabi Vice’.
Vice Ganda has been posting hints on his twitter account indirectly pushing for a Duterte presidency. Perhaps, his connection with Kris Aquino as his close friend, limits him to endorse Duterte during the campaign period.
In one of It’s Showtime episode, Vice Ganda called the madlang people to follow the Duterte administration. He said that it’s about time for unity and for real change in the government.
The DU31 (Duterte Won) victory party will also stage celebrities like KZ Tandingan, Andrew E, Bradley Holmes, Daniel Matsunaga,Erich Gonzales, Jimmy Bondoc, Gladys Guevarra, Carlos Agassi, Ivy Violan, Bernardo Bernardo, Mark Mabasa, Isabel Granada.
The 16th President Rodrigo Duterte will also be joining the event prompting his team to tighten up the security. All attendees will be frisked before entering the party area.
The 12-hour thanksgiving party will be hosted by Kat De Castro and Arnel Ignacio. There will also a feeding program at Davao City’s People’s Park at 1pm.
